I just returned from New York. I had received a request from The Algonquin Hotel to groom their celebrity resident cat (Matilda). She needed to be styled for her big birthday/charity event. Where the proceeds would benefit the North Shore Animal League. Once I new that the event was being put on in order to promote a good cause. I was on board.

My son and I packed our bags and caught a red eye to NYC. I was pleased to see all of the press that came out to cover the event. North Shore had parked their mobile adoption unit in front of the Algonquin Hotel. It was full of puppies and kittens that needed loving homes.

Among the festivities there was a cat fashion show filled with  live music. There was a silent auction in which people placed bids on a hand painted portrait of Matilda The Cat ( Which I heard received a hefty sum ). To top the evening off (Besides the free food and drinks). The North Shore Animal League was pleased with the support that the community showed for their cause.

Bumpy and I were invited to attended the annual New Leash On Life, Nutts 4 Mutts event. I received the honor of being a guest judge for 3 of the dozen or so categories which ranged from Best Senior pet, Cutest Puppy, Best Wag, Mystery Mutt and even Best Physically Challenged. Bumpy and I had a great time and I couldn’tstop laughing at all the dogs in their “over the top” costumes. I mean that in a good way:) For the record (as long as you’re dog doesn’t mind), There’s nothing wrong with dressing him or her up to look like Micheal Jackson:) There was food and snacks  for the furries and a vegetarian only menu for us  humans. Including dozens of vendors hundreds of dogs and plenty of people. I met quite a few Celebrities and most important I got to meet some of my supporters. All in all it was a wonderful event and I’m already signed up for next year.

09Nov

My son and i had a great time at the LA Paws event. Its not often that he gets to come with his daddy to these functions so this one was special. I was discussing business regarding some up and coming projects with Harrison Forbes. There my little man was trying to climb furniture and drive the bus we were on. Its cool though he’s only two and this time flies by so fast I figure I’d better enjoy it. We let him pretend like he was driving the bus while I finished talking business. In a week or so I’ll fill you in on what new projects are taking place. Then you’ll know why I haven’t blogged in so long. Please forgive me:(

Hello there. I know its been a minute since I’ve dropped a line. Please forgive :) I’ve been working really hard on a few projects. When the time is right I’ll tell you all about it. In the mean time this is were I’ll be on November 2nd. Bring your I.D @ your dogs. This is going to be a night to rember.
