The last week has been absolutely incrediable. A vacation on Cape Code, just the thought of it makes me smile. After jasper @ his family, (wife” Lori” and son ” Sal”) invited me to the Cape. All I could do was count down the days. So when the day came “OFF WE WERE” just me and my little man. Destination “Happiness” (a much need break from the day to day grind of LA life). Boy is LA life a grind!! Two weeks before our plane was scheduled to leave, I witnessed TWO shootings! I was so ready to take a vacation. I needed a new scene, with a new sound to groove to a different beat. As soon as the plane landed in Boston I heard the music BABY!

Even though the world is a ghetto. It felt good to be in a different neck of the woods, in a new hood. WE spent the night at the Asaro home in Stoneham Mass. The next morning we packed up the camper @ headed out for the Cape. The air, the trees, the water. It was all speaking to me and I was all ears. Did you know that the Cape has over 140 beaches? Neither did I. There wasn’t enough time to visit them all but the ones I did see were beautiful. We arrived at the camp grounds mid afternoon. There were beautiful people all over. In campers, setting up tents, sitting by camp fires, fishing, and riding bikes. It seemed as though every one was having a party. After all they had every reason to. Jasper’s family and friends treated my son @ I like family. They even made me BBQ vegan burgers and vegan hot dogs. I had a great time. Hung out with great people. Despite the fact that our whole party all caught a 24hr Flu, My son @ I enjoyed ourselves.
