Oopps! I guess Johnathan’s not the only one who runs into trees. I was in LA trying to find a parking space so I could start grooming. After driving around for a few minutes i spotted the perfect space. So I attempted to make a uturn (nearly impossiable) and came up short. I put my truck in reverse in order to clear a couple feet and out of the blue I heard a loud WHAAMMM! First thought that came to mind was “oh my goodness I just killed some one”. I jumped out of the truck to see if anyone was smashed underneath the rear tires and thank GOD they wern’t. All I saw was a 80ft tall palm tree looking down on me and it said “CAN YOU PLEASE MOVE YOUR TRUCK OFF MY FEET” I felt horrible & I just wanted to go home crawl under my bed and hide. I guess this was just one of those days we all tend to have every now and then. I’m sure tomorrow will be much better.
P.S.
WATCH OUT FOR THAT TREE!!!
AAAHHHHHH!!! The sweet smell of success. It smells so good I can almost taste it. If the dogs could only see me know.(wait they see me every day), oh yeah My apologies to the dalmatian on the show. “A groomer’s gotta do what a groomer’s gotta do” I’m sure he understands. Besides the saying goes ” Hear no evil See no evil, Speak no evil”, Nothing was ever mentioned about no smelling the back side of our four legged friends in order to win a challenge.(hahahahahahahah). Any whoo, the truck and I are getting along just fine lots of customers, lots of fun. I have yet to meet a dog or cat that doesn’tlike the grooming truck or the mobile experience altogether. They receive a totally different experience as opposed to a shop. Not that shops are bad (God Bless E’m) Its just a unique situation that all of my furries enjoy. Yes I said “MY FURRIES”!!! And when I groom your poochie then they’ll become my official FURRIE also. Its all relative in the cosmic land of Artist Knox. On my planet there are no strangers. So if you see me groomin on your block, in your hood, or in your gated community, stop by my space ship and give me a galactic what’s upper! Till then I’ll see you all were the rubber meets the road.
“Bathers are remembered, but Groomers never die. (hahahaha) Artist:)
My trip to La canada proved to be a major delight. The drive alone was refreshing, a break from the hustle and fast paste of Los Angles “I love Los Angles”. La canada is a beautiful town just a few miles west of Altadena, nestled in the mountians right off the 2 or 210 freeway. La canada is a quite serene’ family community, who’s clean streets and polite people made me feel every bit at ease. After driving through the community, taking in all they aesthetics, i arrived at the “Lerner” residence. (Arent they beautiful)! I got a the opportunity to meet Lillie the “maltipoo”, who made it very clear that she was special and everyone ought to know. Lillie and I got along great. After all she’s a puppy and puppies want you to know, that they know, there special! After lillies beauty regiment was complete. I ment the whole Lerner family, Mr & Mrs. Lerner and the pretty Lerner girls. What a wonderful and hospitable family. I think I’ve got some of the sweetest costumers a groomer could ask for. To all of my current and future clients, This ones for yooouuuu!!!!!
PEACE&BLESSINGS; Artist Knox.
