Happy New Year everyone. I had to do it…. I wanted to experience New York @ New Year’s. So I did just that:) Other than the fact that I was freezing my butt off. Once I half way got used to the temperature I was able to relax and enjoy the city. I went to every  location  possible. I ate at every vegan restaurant I could google. I hung out with some old friends and meet some new ones. I enjoyed my self to  the extent that when my finance’s line up I’ll be purchasing a spot in the city. Why not..Right? I’m going to have a pad on both coasts. I’ll be bi-coastal. Holla!!!

I can realy get used to this. Traveling the country “and the world” attending various expo’s and pet centerd events. This is the stuff dreams are made of. Hershey Pa was an enjoyable time, despite the fact that I didn’t eat the local delicasey ” chocolate”. I did soak in alot of the activites the Hershey Lodge had to offer. There was a range of things to do and places to go within the resort. I attended a couple of seminars, @ I even spoke at one myself. There were alot of booths filled with vendors from various selling new and innovative products to assist us groomers in practicing or craft. I have to admit that the best part about the whole experience was the Friday night dance! :):):):) Nothing tops off a convention (any) convention like a bomb dance with good music “mainly rap”. For me, dancing with alot of pretty women is medicine for  the body @ mind. OH yeah the heart too. :):) People of all walks of life, and all ages descended upon Hershey Lodge. In some cases I would see three generations of family members shopping at the same booths for the exact products. Grandmothers would be chatting with there grandchildren about shampoo’s while the mom’s @ dad’s were deciding what conditioner to buy. A special time in a special place with alot of wonderful people. That’s the best way to describe the Expo experience.

Groomers of the world unite, I feel a positive breeze of change cooling humid shops all around the world. There’s a new breed of groomer emerging and I got the chance to see the beginning stages of progress.

Wow the cover of Groomer2Groomer. Things are really lookin up. On September 10th - 14th I’ll be at the famous “Groom Expo” in Hershey Pa. I’ll be staying at the Hershey Lodge in “The Town that chocolate built”. I to bad that I don”t eat chocolate, I love the way it smells:) The taste is another subject Since chocolate is the heart of the city. Maybe I’ll have a tiny bite, just to appease the natives. I wouldn’t want to offend any one :):) Either way I’m going to have a great time. Meet alot of people, @ do alot of things.

PINKY’s UP

As of August 26th Jasper, his wife and son along with my son and I are going on VACATION!!!! They invited my son & myself to acompany them on there “voy’age” to Cape Code. Caaape Cooode.. It sounds sooo luxurious. Yep I think I’m going to bring my top hat for this one, oh and my cane to, along with my slippers and I’ll rent a butler for a day or two.(hahahahahahah) I know I’m corky, cant help it. Cape Code is already having its effect on me. I haven’t even borded the plane yet. Till then I’ll count the days untill the time comes for my son and I to take our first vacation together. Jasper I hope your ready cause I’m already packed. The tricky part will be getting me to go home. CAPE CODE HERE WE COME BABY!
