Life goes on and I have to move with it. No matter what I have to keep pushing. On this journey we aren’t promised green pastures or sacks of gold. All we have is the air we breath and the moment we occupy. If I could reach back in time and gather those that have been absorbed by eternity. I would store them within the chambers of my heart and cast it into the future. So that when my journey has come to an end, with me standing at my road of translation me and my company of souls can transition together.

No body said that this would be easy. I wasn’t told of bumpy roads. Hell is hot, death is greed. This is no time to fall on my knees. I will not surrender. I will not relent. Only death can stop me and I’ve made no provisions for her.

Perpetual motion. There’s sharks out hear. Keep Swimming.

    Woo, that was deep.
Artist, you have another gift, and that gift is for writing. You have a raw talented way of expressing your thoughts, feelings and emotions. It is all good!
. . .and the beat goes on
    Peace and Love

    Dear Artist:

I love your philosophy of life. And now I remember a beautiful sentence in Thomas Campbell: “To live in hearts we leave behind us, that’s not dying.”
From Mexico I am sending you a big hug and kiss.
    Love, Jania Salazar.

Artist, I´m Vanessa from Brazil and I really love you. I´m a big fan… You taught all of us to never give up on things, that anything we want is possible! And you show us! Thank you for all and congratulations because I knew from since the beginning that you were the best groomer of all.
You have the biggest heart on the planet and I wish you luck and success! You rock man!!!

  4. Tumeria says:

Remember that the soul is eternal and so is Love. The death of the body only changes the way that the soul expresses itself- from matter to energy. Your mom and all your loved ones who have made their transition are still with you. They are forever guiding you, watching over you, and showering you with their love. You miss the physical presence- I Know! But if you sit in the stillness and open yourself, you will feel her presence embrace you.
    Peace and Blessings,
    Tumeria

    Dear Artist
I´m Claudia from Chile, I knew you through animal planet, last wednesday me and my husband saw you win like the groomer of the year, and we are very very happy for it, you were our favorite groomer!!!! We enjoy a lot your experience in the show, specially your joy and good heart. From this far away country we want to send to you all our admiration and love for the dogs, we have a beautiful one!!! I would like to write in english better than this , but maybe is enough to tell you that you inspire in us a deep emotion that dreams really can be true. And you deserves it
    Big big hug

  6. I was just stopped by to see how things were going. When the show just stopped, I wondered to know why. Sorry bout your mom. Do you dream of her? We sometimes seel oved ones like my grandmother. I give her hug or cry everytime, but she knows I am happy living on and I am sure your mom feels same way. There are people who believe that you are a great groomer and will keep on doing it long after the cameras are turned off. If the proof hasn’t shown itself yet it will.

You’re right — keep swimming, stay strong, and live your life the best way you can, continuing to make your mom — and all of us, your fans — proud of you. You have a great heart, Artist, and by your example you have taught us so much about perseverance and staying true to yourself. We are all behind you. Can you feel all the energy from all over the world supporting you? I hope you can.

    Warm hugs,
    Liz

Oh Artist, I can feel your pain through your words and please know you are on my prayer list!
Next week will be 5 years since I lost my own mother suddenly to a brain aneurysm and it still hurts. Not as bad as it did at first, but it still hurts. Try to remember the happy times, give yourself time to grieve and know that is part of the process.
Your mother was very proud of you, I could see it when she was on your show. Stay strong, hold tightly to your family and friends and know, although there will always be a hole, but it will soon fill with good feelings and the pain will begin to subside. (((((((((hugs)))))))))) to you.

Pasadena’s hot too! I’ve broken down my boyfriend and he’s actually agreed to DRIVE Spikey to an appointment, we think you’re so suave. My apologies (Maltese are bumpy), but we do look forward to seeing you.

    Take care of yourself,
    Rebecca

  10. Rebecca says:

Oh, I just read further. Your beautiful mom died. I’m so sorry. This sounds silly, but the scene of you cutting your mom’s toenails was one of the most beautiful things I’ve seen on tv.

It’s very cool that you have “Beverly Hills Groomer” to show your little boy his grandmother when he’s older.

It’s a cliche, but you have your mom still, some, in you and your siblings. You couldn’t have a better “souvenir”. My father died when I was 17 and I remind myself that.
