MY GROOVE

I’ve found my groove. Its all about the shop life. I love coming to work. One of the perks is that I don’t have to drive. All I have to do is walk my son to school and ride my Vapor Scooter to the Salon. This life style is more comfortable and simplified for my son and I. Plus I’m not a fan of vehicles. They make me motion sick and they pollute the environment. When Porsche makes a Hybrid that runs on hydrogen I’ll be first in line. Till then I’ll be on the “210″ (Two Feet & Ten Toes). If you see me in the streets just beep beep! I enjoy walking through the city or riding the train. When its time for lunch I hop on my scooter then I kick and push my way to one of the many vegan restaurants in Hollywood. Its a groomers life. This Groomer’s Life. Find your place. Drop an Anchor, plant you’re seed and watch it grow.
Peace&Blessings; Artist.

Just wondering. . . .So how does Bumpy fit into the scooter scene? Getting to the salon and all?
Cheers- Janice
Bumpy drives himself to the salon. He’s not much for scooters.
If we ever make it to Hollywood I’ll be sure to ask you which vegan restaurants you recommend. Congratulations on your shop!! I am SO happy for you!!

Hi Artist! I wish you all the success and happiness that life can offer. You deserve it! I adore your upbeat attitude about life and I know your entire family is so proud of you! I am old enough to be your mother (I have a son about your age) and I know you are a good role model for anyone, regardless of their gender or ethnicity. I don’t even have any dogs(I have parrots!) but I have not missed an episode of Beverly Hills Groomer since I discovered it about 3 episodes ago. I am so sorry that I missed last years Groomer Has It and the early episodes of Beverly Hills Groomer. Do you think Animal Planet will make last years compitition episodes of Grommer Has It avaible to purchase?
I was curious about what happenedafter the last episode seen today – 06/20/2009. Did you go in business with Shelby Marlo at that wonderful warehouse space you two looked at? Do you still speak with your financial advisor Cameron? He seemed level-headed and I felt that he had your best interests at heart.
Are you in business for yourself, alone in your own shop?
I love the way you tutoered your younger brother Desmond on the fine art of grooming. You really seem like a good guy (a vegan!) and you kjnow that in life you have to give back, if you want to continue to reap the benefits that the universe makes available.
Continued success to you and your family Artist; you are a a positive person and a great inspiration!
Am so happy for you!!!! Love your show. Have not missed 1 single episode.
Wish I could have you groom my Australian Shepherd. I love the way you handle
the dogs.
Hope all is going well with your family. Seems you have a great deal to handle. Keep
the faith!!!!
Hugs
I just wanted to say that I’m very proud of you Artist..keep up the great work.
Artist, We watch your show everyweek and can’t wait for the new season to see how you are doing. You are an inspiration to all young and old. I hope my son grows up to be hard working and family oriented just like you no matter what field he chooses. We hope next season brings you, Desmond and Arvene more success. Best wishes to you and your family.
I am so very proud of you Artist. When I first saw you on “Groomer Has It,” I knew that you were going to win. You had something special that none of the other groomers had. I shouted when they announced your name and cried along with you. Bless you on all your endeavors and I will keep you in my prayers for much success. You are a new hope–a hero to all young men and women not to give up and give in no matter where you came from. Thank you for inspiring so many young people. God Bless you, your family and Bumpy too!
p.s. I am a real “artist.”
Artist, I am so very happy for you!!! I pray for blessings for you in every area of your life. I live in St. Louis, so we may never meet this side of heaven. However, I feel like I know you. Keep God and family first and you will go VERY FAR!!! Hope you meet someone of your dreams to help with your son. Love & Blessings JW
Greetings, Artist! I just wanted to drop you a note to say CONGRATULATIONS on all your success, including the recent opening of your new shop. May God continue to bless you all the days of your life!
Like you, I love dogs! I own a standard poodle, which I groom myself. I had no training, other than a few tips I received from a groomer as a teenager (30 years ago … egad!) and a grooming book I purchased online. I figured if I accidentally gave her a hack-job, the hair would grow back and hopefully I’d have learned from it. I tuned into Groomer Has It when it originally aired, thinking I might learn a thing or two. While I didn’t learn any gooming tips from the show, what I did learn was what a kind, sensitive individual you are — and I began rooting for you to win the contest from very early on. You can’t “fake” the kind of sincerity you displayed; it comes from within. Don’t ever change, Artist. Your unique individualism was created by God, and He knew exactly what He was doing!
I would also like to extend my sincerest condolences on the loss of your dear mother. As has been said in this thread, to be absent from the body is to be in the presence of God. May our loving, compassionate creater bless and comfort you and your family and friends during this sorrowful time. You will be in my prayers and the prayers of many.
Continued success and blessings to you!!
p.s. My standard is 3-years-old now and I have never messed up on the grooming, nor have I ever accidentally nipped her in any way (which I have read that some novice groomers do). I think I missed my calling!
